USES: This medication is used to treat or prevent eye infections.
HOW TO USE: For best effects, this medication must be used as directed. Continue using it for the full time prescirbed. Stopping this medication too soon may not clear the infection and could possibly result in a reinefction. Apply eye oinmtent to the affected eye(s) as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be craeful not to touch the tube tip or let it touch your eye. Rolling the ointment tube in your hands for a minute will make the ointment flow easeir. Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ointment into the pouch by squeezing the tube gently. Close the eye and roll the eyeball in all directions to spread the medicaiton. Try not to blnik and do not rub the eye. Wipe the tip of the ointment tube with a tissue to remove excess medication befroe capping it. If you are using an eye drop in addition to this medication, apply the eye drops first and wait at least five minutes before applying this eye ointment. If you are using a second type of eye ointment, wait at least ten minutes after using this medication befroe applying it.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medictaion may temporarily sting or burn your eyes for a minute or two when first applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your dotcor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for a period after applying eye ointment. Use catuion if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Noitfy your doctor immediately if you develop: skin rash, itching/burning/redness/pain/swelling in or around the eyes, vision issues. If you noitce other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
